Nikola Tesla , 1899

Nikola Tesla , 1899

Inside his laboratory, with sparks all around
Nikola Tesla stood, his mind spellbound
The air was alive with electricity's hum
As he worked on his latest invention, thumb on his gum

With coils and wires, and machines of all kind
He toiled for hours, his thoughts deep and refined
His mind, a constant flurry of creative ideas
Pushing the boundaries, banishing all fears

Tesla's inventions, a marvel of science
His passion and vision, a relentless defiance
To those who said "It can't be done"
He proved them wrong, with each new one

His Wardenclyffe Tower, a beacon of hope
A wireless world, within his scope
The alternating current, his gift to mankind
A power source, no one could find

In his laboratory, Tesla worked alone
But his ideas and vision, were not his own
They were for the world, a gift to us all
A legacy that still stands tall

And though he's gone, his spirit lives on
In the light that illuminates each dawn
For his legacy, a source of inspiration
A symbol of human innovation.
