Life and Spirits Abound
Water and spirits flow through life,
Love, marriage, divorce, joy and strife,
Sorrow and blessings, ever present,
Sometimes absent, leaving us desolate.
The deer roam free, hunters give chase,
Counting their kills with no trace of grace,
Letters written in anguish and pain,
As nothing seems to fill the empty space.
But everything changes with snow and rain,
Washing away our fears and pain,
Bringing new life and freedom to reign,
Despite the loss that we sustain.
Live every moment, embrace the now,
For life is fleeting, we know not how,
Find the joy in the little things,
And let the blessings that surround us sing.
