Darwin's Arrival In Brazil
As Darwin sailed upon the Beagle's deck,
He gazed upon the land with wide-eyed awe,
For in Salvador, Brazil, did he trek,
He witnessed sights he'd never seen before.
The tropical forest's colours bright,
Enchanted Darwin with their vibrant hues,
Sweet sounds he heard both day and night,
A symphony that never would refuse.
Though he spent his days rock hunting,
His mind was filled with wondrous thoughts,
As he found gneiss from Sugarloaf Mountain,
He knew that he had stumbled upon a lot.
For in that moment, Darwin knew,
That nature's beauty had so much to give,
His journey on the Beagle drew,
Awe-inspiring experiences that he'd forever relive.
So let us look upon his tale,
And appreciate the world we see,
For every forest, mountain, and vale,
Is a wonder to behold for you and me.
