It was a Good Day
It was a good day, the sun was bright,
The dogs were out, their tails held high,
Bounding and frolicking with all their might,
Chasing their dreams beneath the cerulean sky.
The ducks were flying, in perfect formation,
Their wings beating rhythmically, a graceful sight,
Gliding through the air, a bird's liberation,
In harmonious dance, taking flight.
All around, the animals played,
In joyous fashion, they reveled and spun,
Squirrels scampered, through branches they strayed,
While rabbits hopped, having their fun.
The meadow echoed with laughter and cheer,
As creatures of all kinds found their delight,
From buzzing bees to deer so near,
Nature's symphony, a breathtaking sight.
The air was filled with love and glee,
A tapestry of colors, a vibrant scene,
Underneath the shade of a sprawling tree,
Life's beauty and wonders could be seen.
On this good day, a moment of bliss,
We joined in the mirth, our spirits light,
Embracing the enchantment, the purest abyss,
As nature's children, we took flight.
In this harmonious world, we found our way,
Where dogs and ducks danced with elation,
And all the animals played in joyous play,
We cherished the beauty of creation.
