Strong Trees

Trees stand tall and proud,
reaching for the sky,
their branches stretched out long,
nature's architecture high.
their leaves rustle in the breeze,
a symphony of green,
their trunks rough, their bark at ease,
nature's kings and queens.
trees bear witness to the years,
their rings a history,
of joys and sorrows, hopes and fears,
a legacy.
trees give life, they give shade,
a home for birds and bees,
their roots run deep, their love unafraid,
nature's guardians, if you please.
So let us honor trees,
for all they do and are,
for the beauty they bring to our knees,
and the peace they bring to our hearts.
